I tried my hand at map keys again. Thankfully, I had more time to work on the key design.
It might be too gaudy, but the point of the details was to hint at the culture of the place on the map; Maritime, New England /, New Netherlands, etc.
Hex marked maps always seem easier to read in a game setting. But, square marked maps are more conducive to coordinates.
