A New, Simple Map: The Cornucopia of Marxadang

Name: Marxadang
| N 39°, W 4° |

Details

  • Inner-sea to the West.
    • Could be home to unique, aquatic species.
  • A flooded, once rift-valley, inlet on the southeastern coast.
  • A collection of islands, made up of high spots that were isolated after the flooding
    • Maybe a doggerland situation? Still threatened to submerge.
  • 2 great-lakes just above the southeastern inlet.

Back to world scaled maps. I am trying to work on the “cracked” look that river mouths give coastlines.

The end result almost has a curvature to it, like the island is in motion.

I want to take another try on this map. Take my time and make the topography more detailed.

Here’s a sneak peek on the base template, all outlined out.
